Cannabis Legislation in Maryland

Maryland House Bill 881 (2014) allowed medical marijuana to be made available to patients living with specific approved conditions. A definite timeline for the availability of registration forms for qualifying patients and caregivers is not yet established, however physicians are now able to log onto the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission website and apply for registration to certify qualified patients. Patients and physicians are required to register with the state before being certified for treatment or certifying patients for the use of medical marijuana.
